Gedalya releases new album
Album 2022 brings together classic songs and new releases in latest album from the Folk-rock Rabbi
NEW YORK (August 13, 2022) — After a year of releasing new songs and fresh takes on old favorites, Gedalya, popularly known as the Folk-rock Rabbi recently turned his efforts into releasing a full album.
Those efforts came to fruition on August 11 with the release of Album 2022.
“For many albums are a thing of the past, and so I've been focused on releasing singles," Gedalya said. But, for those of you who are in search of the "Album Experience," I wanted to create something that fills that desire and so Album 2022 combines new releases from this year along with fresh takes on some of my classic songs."
While many of the tracks were written and recorded just this year, for Album 2022, he also re-recorded some of his piano/vocal songs from the past, each song, with full backing, creating a cohesive album that reflects his continuing goal of creating music that takes listeners on a positive journey that reflects hope and understanding.
And of course, a touch of faith.
"Faith drives many of the tracks along with a desire to explore the best in us all," Gedalya said.
He credits that faith along with his family, friends and collaborators for the creation of the album.
"While Album 2022 reflects my thoughts and emotions, there are so many behind me that makes it possible to continue to create and release music," Gedalya said. "And my supporters and fans continue to make it all worthwhile. I hope everyone enjoys the album."
