Let me start with an introduction. My name is Gedalya aka: Folk Rock Rabbi. I perform regularly in New York, and my album is even in the running for the Grammys this year. And I'm already in the middle of recording another one.

I’ve been years on the road, sharing the experience of music with people from all walks of life. And if I know anything, it’s this: music brings people together.

That’s why I founded A New Song USA a few years ago. It’s a nonprofit that brings concerts to incarcerated individuals. I travel to prisons, sharing my music and stories with those behind bars. The goal? To help them reconnect with their humanity and offer a little bit of light in a place that can feel very dark. These performances are for everyone—all faiths, all backgrounds. The idea is simple: music can create a space where people feel understood and seen, no matter who they are.

And it isn’t just prisons. I go to nursing homes, rehabs, those places where people are hurting and healing, or maybe just waiting for the next thing to happen. In these performances, it’s all about welcoming everyone. We all come together through music.

And that brings me to you.

As this mission continues to grow, I’m reaching out in Jewish Communities wherever I go; to groups, synagogues, Jewish organizations, and to individuals who would like to host a home concert. My touring brings me to all kinds of cities filled with all expressions of Judaism and I'd like to meet you and share my songs with you while I'm there.
