We live in a world where it's easy to delete the message, clear the history, close the chapter, and make something disappear.

But making something invisible doesn't necessarily make it gone.

“Don’t Rush to Erase It” is a spoken-word piece about the difference between erasing something and actually learning from it.

Sometimes the hardest thing isn't fixing the problem. It's staying with the discomfort long enough to understand it.

What brought me here? What was I missing? What was I avoiding? What needs to change in me so this doesn't happen again in a different form?

Because if we rush past that part, we don't always heal. Sometimes we simply recycle the same patterns in different situations, with different mistakes and new names.

Not everything that hurts, embarrasses us, or reminds us of a failure needs to disappear immediately.

Some things need to teach us before they leave our lives.
